Simple Assessments from a Careful Observer
I have neither qualification nor talent enough to write a book. But then again, I have never been one to understand parameters. So the real question is, in this semi-autobiographical attempt at entertainment, am I trying to get away? And if so, from what?

I change my pillow case every night before I go to bed; while playing card games I am furiously impatient with slow shuffling; I am overtly rude to smokers; Monopoly is the greatest game ever invented; I am the best minesweeper player in the world; I state my opinions as if they are fact; I am an embarrassingly bad singer; I regularly lose my train of thought in the middle of a sentence; I overuse commas; I am in love with poetry; I am in love with you; I use the word love too freely; I don’t speak Spanish but I will; I am scared to die

I'm a little confused by your posting...are you contemplating writing a book or have you already started one? Also, you always have been one to entertain and I am not sure what you might be trying to get away from...perhaps the reality of life in general. Sometimes it may do us all some good to take a step back from living our daily life and come at it from a different perspective, like a book perhaps. In the end, it may be both therapuetic and entertaining...but then again, who knows?
By the way...just wanted to let you know that I check your blog everyday! I know you would like to think otherwise but, think again. Keep writing...it is my pleasure!
